A través de Mujeres Unidas, nos esforzamos por mostrarles a las mujeres de nuestras comunidades que nunca están solas.

Esta semana organizamos una clase sobre cuidado y diseño de uñas. ¡Estas mujeres son talentosas y creativas! 💅

Aprovechamos este tiempo para hablar sobre otros programas de nuestra organización y para conversar sobre la importancia de recursos como el Programa de Cáncer de Mama y de Cuello Uterino (BCCP, por sus siglas en inglés) del Departamento de Salud del Estado de Mississippi y la línea nacional de prevención del suicidio, el 988.

Through Mujeres Unidas, we strive to show women in our communities that they are never alone.

We hosted a class this week that taught nail care and nail design. These women are talented and creative! 💅

We use this time to talk about the other programs within our organization and to discuss the importance of resources like the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) through the MS State Department of Health and the national su***de prevention hotline, 988.

Recientemente llevamos a cabo una capacitación en RCP en la Iglesia Cristiana Getsemaní, con la colaboración de la farmacéutica Paola González.

Gracias a la American Heart Association por ayudar a hacerlo posible mediante la donación de maniquíes.

El equipo de nuestro Programa Rural asistió a la Escuela Secundaria Ridgeland para la Noche de Padres de EL (Aprendices del Idioma Inglés) de los Titans.

Compartieron los diversos recursos disponibles a través de El Pueblo, al tiempo que conocían lo que sus hijos pueden esperar durante este nuevo año escolar.

Esto significa que la Luna cubrirá solo una pequeña parte del Sol y que el fenómeno no se verá desde la franja de totalidad.

Ya sea un eclipse total o parcial, es necesario proteger la vista mientras se disfruta de este espectáculo poco común.

BILOXI EL PUEBLO: A partial solar eclipse is expected to be visible from the United States this week on Wednesday, August 12th! 🌒☀️😎

This means the moon will cover only a small portion of the sun, and it will not be visible in the path of totality.

No matter a total eclipse or a partial eclipse, you still need to protect your vision while enjoying this rare sight.
