For three years, I represented the New York City child welfare agency in Family Court proceedings. While working for the agency, I appeared in Family Court virtually every day, and I litigated dozens of
contested hearings. Family court litigation is a daunting process with high stakes. As your attorney, I will work diligently to protect your rights and those of your children. I always try to expedite cases, but never at the expense of my clients. I will litigate your case at every stage if necessary to defend your interests. I graduated from Brooklyn Law School, and I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. When I attended Brooklyn Law School, I served as President of the Unemployment Action Center, where I represented individuals who were denied unemployment insurance benefits by the New York State Department of Labor. I am admitted to practice law before the courts of New York and Connecticut, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts. I serve on the New York State Bar Association Committee on Legal Aid, and the Queens County Bar Association Juvenile Justice Committee. Furthermore, I am a member of the Assigned Counsel/Attorneys for Children Panel for the Second Judicial Department. I published the chapters on child protection and family offenses in Onward & Upward: Guide for Getting Through New York Divorce & Family Law Issues. I was selected as a Rising Star in the 2015 issue of Super Lawyers Magazine. I also received the 2015 Client Satisfaction Award from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
