Just finishing up a Qualified Domestic Relations Order which took much too long to connect with the administrator. Sometimes, I think companies just do not want to honor their contracts on behalf of their employees.

Delighted to have two new clients to work with in their divorce. It is not an easy process, but good communication and prompt answers help keep the documents moving through the system. Four months seems like a long time, but it seems to be just about right for the amount of paperwork and transitions folks have to make.

Still serving people who want to collaborate and be more involved in their own divorce process, step by step. I now work exclusively by internet, phone, email, mail. This has proven to be very helpful for the hectic schedules of my clients. It also affords greater flexibility with regard to times and days. I can be available by appointment almost anytime.

In the 23 years I have been doing this, I have seen a greater interest in folks working out solutions before they go to court, so they can accommodate their own needs. Mediation is sometimes necessary, but most times, a telephone conference works very well in creating the decisions folks want to make together. Then, it is my job to get that language into the proper document and submit it at the proper time.
