Walking through Folsom, you never know what kind of local magic you might stumble upon. I recently found the Valley Ukulele Society meeting at the Folsom Community Center, and it is exactly the kind of thing that makes our community so special.

Every Tuesday around 11:30 am, the room fills with music and a lot of laughter. It does not matter if you are a pro or have never picked up a string instrument before. Everyone is welcome to join the circle. It is only $5 to participate, which is a small price for the amount of joy and connection happening in that room.

Folsom is full of these little pockets of community. Whether it is a local music group, a neighborhood trail, or a favorite coffee shop, these are the details that make living in the Greater Sacramento area so rewarding.
