Helpful Tip:

After an auto accident, as soon as you can, write down everything that happened. Include details like the time, weather, the road conditions, what you said, what was said to you and by whom. Also, obtain the name and phone number of any witnesses. If you have a smartphone, this is a good way to get all the details down quickly--either by typing or voice recording--before you forget any of them.
