Real talk: waiting for rates to drop is not a strategy.

Rates have been "about to drop" for two years. Some buyers who waited are still waiting. Others bought, locked in their payment, and have been building equity the whole time.

If rates drop significantly, you can refinance. If prices keep rising while you wait, you cannot get that money back.

The best time to buy is when you are financially ready and have the right home in front of you. Not when the headlines say so.
