Our Story
We are bankruptcy attorneys first and foremost! Baro Law Firm is the office of Kimber H. Baro. Kimber has practiced bankruptcy law in St. Louis for over 30 years. Experience is absolutely crucial when it comes to bankruptcy. As simple as bankruptcy is to discuss, the bankruptcy laws are actually quite complicated, and filing bankruptcy has real, serious consequences. We have experience practicing bankruptcy law, it’s what we do! We file hundreds of chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies in St. Louis and the surrounding areas each year.
Thanks to our experience and our small firm size we are able to provide quality, personalized bankruptcy services for lower prices than most St. Louis area bankruptcy law firms. Higher prices do not necessarily mean you will receive better service or better legal representation. Higher prices usually mean higher overhead costs for the law firm - high rent at an office building, more staff to pay, advertising costs, expensive suits, etc.
At the same time, don’t be tempted by lower prices either - the experienced, reputable attorneys in St. Louis do not offer lower prices! Critique Services is a perfect example of a firm that charged fees so low that it was unrealistic for them to earn a profit, so they ended up hurting a lot of people with the corners they cut!
At our firm you work directly with attorneys! When you call you will speak to an attorney, and when you come in you will sit down with an attorney. We have no packets to fill out! We do not make you do any of our work for us. We fully prepare your case for you, and we walk you through entire process from start to finish, making things as easy as possible along the way. Your job is to answer our questions honestly, and to get us your personal documents, such as paychecks, tax returns, and bill statements.
