Today, I’m especially thankful for the blessing and responsibility of being a father to my boys, and for the example my own father set for me throughout my life. Fatherhood is one of God’s greatest gifts, and it continually teaches me about patience, sacrifice, grace, and unconditional love.

I’m grateful for the fathers and father figures who lead their families with faith, integrity, and strength. Proverbs 20:7 says, “The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.”

Due to factors beyond our control, we are no longer able to maintain or manage the former Killen Police Department page. This new page will serve as our only official platform for sharing information related to public safety, department updates, and community notifications for the Town of Killen.

Please note that our police department office has limited staffed hours of Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. We are developing a solution to provide a way to contact the Killen Police Department outside of limited business hours. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

For 24/7 Killen Police dispatch and calls for service, contact Lauderdale 911.

Last night, I had the honor as Judge of swearing in Bill White as the new Chief of Police for the Town Of Killen, Alabama. I have known Chief White since I was a young prosecutor while he was an investigator with the Florence Police Department, and we have had several conversations over the past few weeks and I am convinced of his dedication to this new role and his commitment to bringing quality law enforcement to this community. Congratulations, Chief White! Looking forward to what the future holds for the Killen Police Department with you at the helm.
