Maleski, Eisenhut & Zielinski, LLC is a boutique family law firm located in Flemington, NJ, with a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals who are dedicated to advocating for clients in family and divorce law matters. The firm offers various services ranging from litigation to settlement minded negotiations, as well as mediation and collaborative divorce. Our firm prides itself on effectively communicating with clients and customizing services to our clients’ needs.

We are seeking a full time associate attorney with at least one year of experience (either a Family Law Clerkship or one year of Family Law private practice experience) to join our team. The position is on-site and will require the attorney to handle matters in all aspects of family law matter from beginning to end, including issues of divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, spousal and child support, domestic violence, QDROs, etc. You will provide legal advice, draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, Case Information Statements, Marital Settlement Agreements, Consent Orders, and various other related submissions; you will appear in Court for various proceedings, and attend mediation and settlement conferences. The ideal candidate must have experience in family law, be motivated and a self-starter, be detail-oriented and empathetic, and have strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the New Jersey Bar At least one (1) year of family law experience (either a family law clerkship or private practice in family law) Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Strong negotiation and mediation skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously Compassionate and empathetic approach to client representation Strong and effective communication skills Willingness to assist other attorneys and the ability to work well in a team setting Motivated, independent and self-starter

Starting at $70k per year. Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits are available (health, 401k, etc.).
