COMMENT BELOW FOR CHANCE TO WIN $333!!!
Alyssa and I thought we had this great idea.
For the 63rd District basketball tournament, we had 4,500 signs printed in green for Greenup County, orange for Raceland, and maroon for Russell with the number “3” printed in white. See picture.
The idea was for fans to hold up the “3” sign each time their team’s player sank one from distance.
But when we got to the games Monday night, we were told the signs violated a rule.
Bummer.
You’ve got to follow the rules.
But what do you do with 4,500 signs, each with a Keep This Coupon” ticket with a chance to win $333. (Get it, 3-3-3)
Well, you give them out any way you can.
You can comment below and we will reserve your card and chance to win $333.
Or you can come by our law office and will give you one. You can call our law office at 836-8300 and we will reserve a card and a chance for you to win.
The real winners, of course, are the underprivileged kids of Greenup County who benefitted $3 for every three-point shot made in 2022. money donated through the respective school’s family resource centers in 2022.
During the 63rd, every 3-pointer is worth $9 ($3 to each school, no matter what team hits the “3”). Over $200 was “earned” Monday night alone.
We think the total “earned by these fine athletes finally will be between $2,000 - $2,500.
But the student athletes are all winners too.
I played high school baseball, I was terrible at it, but it had a wonderful impact on my life. Alyssa played high school golf, was great at it and even played golf for four years in college at Transylvania. She feels the same way about her experience, and would not trade it for the world.
These athletes will cherish their experience forever. Their performance this year helped others as well.
