🐾 Helping People Find Homes... and Helping Dogs Find Hope.
Helping people navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives is something I’ve always taken seriously. Real estate has never just been about buying and selling houses to me — it's about helping people get where they need to go in life. New beginnings. Fresh starts. A place to call home.
But if you know me for more than five minutes, then you know there's another huge part of my heart outside of real estate... dogs. Especially the ones still waiting for someone to choose them. 🖤
I've owned rescues my entire life — sometimes as many as five at once. I donate to shelters, stop for strays, get attached way too quickly, and spend far too much time watching rescue videos that absolutely wreck me. 😭
And in the words of one of my favorite artists, Kid Rock:
"I can't change the world and make things fair, but the least that I can do is care." 🖤
That quote has always stuck with me.
I may not be able to save every dog. Trust me, if I could, my house would look very different. 😂 But I can do something.
So here's where my new little Archie Approved idea comes in. 🐶
From now on, with every home listed or sold through The Maxx Group, a portion of the proceeds will go toward helping rescue dogs through donations of treats, food, toys, supplies, and other necessities to shelters and rescue organizations that are making a difference.
✔️ Archie Approved
✔️ Sully's Selection
✔️ Saylor's Seal of Approval (coming soon 😉)
Some of the organizations that inspire me include Darlington County Humane Society in South Carolina, Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida, and several shelters and rescue groups throughout New York and beyond that work tirelessly to give dogs a second chance.
Because while I can't bring them all home, I can help make their days a little brighter.
So when you start seeing these little Archie Approved signs around, know they stand for something bigger than real estate. They represent second chances, compassion, and a commitment to helping both people and pets find their way home.
And let's be honest... when Mom gets a closing, these spoiled dogs already get giant Chewy boxes anyway, so it only seems fair that they start sharing the love. 😂🐾
Future goal?
A rescue facility of my own someday.
Until then, we'll help one wagging tail at a time. ❤️
