SEAHAWKS FOOTBALL FESTIVAL
Gates open at 4:15 p.m. for the $17 Seahawks Football Fest with live music and inflatable bounce houses, Seahawks dancers, a gaming zone, players practicing (5:20 p.m.), and an autographed football toss from the players (7:20 p.m.) at Lumen Field, 800 Occidental Ave. S in Seattle.
CAPITOL HILL BLOCK PARTY
Capitol Hill Block Party is a three-day music festival with 70 bands, DJs, craft booths, food trucks, and beer gardens. Enter at 12th Ave. & E Pike St. in Seattle for age 21+.
FOOD & MUSIC FESTIVAL
Edmonds Block Party has a beer garden, food vendors, kids’ activities, and live music on two stages in the field at 310 6th Ave. N in Edmonds. Friday is for age 21+; Saturday is free for those younger than age 21. No pets.
WOODINVILLE FESTIVAL
Celebrate Woodinville Festival [scroll down their web page] starts with pancakes at the fire station, followed by an 11 a.m. parade on 175th Street, a farmer’s market on Festival Street, plus an arts & crafts fair, wine & beer garden, food vendors, and kids’ activities at Wilmot Gateway Park, 17301 131st Ave. NE in Woodinville.
TACOMA ART FESTIVAL
Music & art lovers converge on 6th Avenue in Tacoma (from Alder St. to State St.) for Art on the Ave, which promises 200 local artists and vendors, beer gardens, a kids’ zone, and entertainment on a stage at TAPCO Credit Union, 2802 6th Ave. in Tacoma.
NEIGHBORHOOD FESTIVAL
Othello Park International Festival is a family-friendly event with lively dancers, hands-on art, fun games, and tempting food vendors at Othello Park, 4351 S Othello St. in Seattle.
PARTY ON A FERRY BOAT
Step aboard The Hiyu for a floating dance party on Lake Union, with live or DJ music, food vendors, and bars. Most voyages depart from the dock at MOHAI, 860 Terry Ave. N in Seattle for age 21+. Some dates are sold out.
