Deposition Highlights:

⚖️I sat for a deposition in a case that isn’t mine, but somehow, I’ve become part of the narrative.
⚖️It’s a strange experience to sit across from another attorney who has chosen to make you the subject of scrutiny, speculation, and, at times, outright fiction.
I fretted over my outfit, which is not normally like me. I chose pink because it’s my favorite. 💕 I also wanted to evoke femininity, class & warmth. I did manage to take out my retainer before the deposition. 😁
I showed up, answered every question with clarity, and left with my integrity intact. Not everything deserves a reaction.
Some things simply deserve steadiness rather than emotions.
Onward. Year #2.
