Ellen M. Weintraut is the owner of Northwest Immigration Law, PLLC, in Fayetteville. Originally from Rogers, she is licensed by the State of Oregon and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon as well as the Sixth, Eighth, and Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. Her practice focuses on family immigration, naturalization, asylum, humanitarian visas, and removal defense. She currently serves on the American Immigration Lawyers Association's Membership Committee and the CIS Benefits Committee, and she is the AILA Local Liaison with the USCIS Field Office in Fort Smith. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband and their two boys.

AILA Midsouth, Arkansas Access to Justice, Arkansas Immigrant Defense, Canopy NWA, and local NWA firms invite all legal permanent residents who wish to become U.S. Citizens to join a naturalization clinic where attorneys will explain the naturalization process and will help qualified individuals apply for citizenship. The clinic will be held at the Fayetteville Public Library on February 10 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
