What does that tell us?
💰 SELLERS: Buyers are still buying, but they’re paying attention to price. With more homes available, pricing your property correctly from the beginning, preparing it properly, and having a strong marketing strategy can make a BIG difference.

🔑 BUYERS:More listings and price reductions may mean more choices and opportunities to negotiate. If you’ve been waiting for the right home or wondering whether now is a good time to start looking, there may be more opportunities out there than you realize.

📬 Harnett County homeowners, keep an eye on your mailbox!

The Harnett County Tax Department is mailing out the 2026 property tax bills today, August 28, 2026.

Property taxes must be paid by January 5, 2027 to avoid becoming delinquent.

If you need a little flexibility, payment plan options are available. You can learn more here:

And if your property taxes are paid through your mortgage escrow account, don’t panic when you see a bill in the mail 😂 You’ll receive a courtesy statement for your records.
