Astra Lena Coleman
1974-2021
It is with incredible sadness that the family of Astra Coleman announces her passing on Monday, September 20, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 46.
Her passing leaves tremendous pain in the hearts of her family and friends who adored her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, and were always entertained by her amusing sense of humor and lifelong display of silly facial expressions.
Astra was born in Festus, Missouri, on December 31, 1974, to Alan Coleman, Sr. and Jacqueline (Morgan) Coleman.
Astra was preceded in death by her father, Alan, Sr.
She leaves behind so many who dearly love her; her love and life companion, Scott Stephens, her mother, Jacqueline Coleman, her son, Jaron Coleman (companion, Emma), her daughter, Lexi Berg, one brother, Alan Coleman, Jr. (wife, Tammi), three nieces Brittany Coleman (companion, Michelle), Brandi Coleman (fiancée, Sean), and Bailey Coleman, three nephews in-law, Teren Burns (wife, Erica), Ty Burns (fiancée, Tonya), and Tanden Burns, 3 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews, 1 great nephew-in-law, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Astra was a 1993 graduate of North County High School. During her professional career, she met many colleagues and made many treasured friends while employed at the Farmington Correctional Center, Duffe Law, and as an Independent Paparazzi Jewelry Consultant. Most recently, Astra truly cherished her time spent as a homemaker and full-time mom.
In accordance with Astra’s wishes, no formal memorial service will be held.
