LegalShield Real Member Story of the Day!
A new Legalshield member's car suffered $1,200 damage at an automatic car wash. Distraught, he remembered a sign on the car wash wall inviting customers to call "if there is anything we can do to improve your car-wash experience."

He despaired they would cover the repair costs after three un-returned voicemails. He thought about calling an attorney, then remembered he had access to an entire law firm! When he explained the situation to the provider-firm attorney, she asked for his repair estimates and called the car wash owners. The owners called our member within the hour, apologizing and asking him to stop by to pick up a $1,200 check! He told me, "That one phone call paid for my LegalShield membership for 4 years!"

I just have to share this note from a friend I met through this business. She is a single mother with a first-grade son living in Texas. I won't steal any of her thunder:

"Personally, I've enrolled 603 members as of today in my tenure (celebrating 19 years on September 26th). You might think that's not a whole lot, and you're probably right. The math shows I've averaged enrolling 2.6 new members per month on my own. NOT breaking any records here, right? That's okay. I never set out to be #1, or at the top of any list, or ... the best. I just set out to help people get a really great service -- a service that helped me so much when I was introduced to and used it the first time back in 1998.

"It's funny how this business works, though. See, quite a few of the folks I enrolled for our services knew they'd also want to tell people about them, and they decided they wanted their own website to send people to (rather than send them to mine) so they could get the referral fees and commissions. "I bought a $200 phone. After a few weeks, it stopped working. I called the company and was told to box it up and send it back. I did, but I was moving at that time and the box got lost. I called and explained - they said they'd note my account and I could send it in later, which I did. A month later, I got it back -- the company denied it, and sent me a bill! Turned out, the company was now under new ownership. I called numerous times, spoke with managers, explained what happened and got nowhere. Now this new company reported a bad mark on my credit and I was getting calls and letters from their for . This went on for almost 3 years!! A friend told me about LegalShield and I wasn't interested at first because I hated and didn't trust them. Thankfully, she made me just try it - I had nothing to lose. I pumped gas but the gas didn't come out. I went inside and told the man my gas didn't come out. He said, "Swipe your card again." I told him "No, GIVE ME MY GAS or my back. "This morning on my way to an I turned down a road I don't usually travel and hadn't yet noticed a speed limit sign. Most of the surrounding roads are 50 or 55 mph roads. The moment I saw lights behind me I figured this road was obviously set lower.
When the approached my window and told me I was going 57 in a 35 (& wasn't happy 😬).… I apologized and explained that I'm a very safe driver without traffic violations, but I was heading to an appointment and don't usually travel that road. "A couple of days ago I got a letter / bill for over $2072.68 from my insurance company, stating that I had to reimburse them for all of my son's medicines from 2016. Of course I almost went into a cardiac arrest, so I then placed a call to my and they fired off a letter to my company. Result: I just got a phone call saying that my account had been zeroed out, that they had committed an error and that they highly apologize that it didn't get taken care of sooner. "I bought a pretty expensive set of and realized after awhile that it was just defective. I'd purchased the special warranty and figured all would be fine since the furniture was still under warranty. When I called the company, however, I was told that my situation was . Didn't sound right or fair, or anything like what I was told when I bought the furniture and the warranty, so I called my here in Kansas. The attorney who called me back was patient and kind and had me email him pictures of the furniture.
