Last month, friends of the McIlvaine Home Team showed up in a big way! We asked you to bring school supplies to our Lake Accotink event, and the response was incredible—backpacks, notebooks, crayons, markers and so much more.

This week, I had the privilege of delivering everything to Mantua Elementary School and Reggie Incer, Mantua’s Family Liaison, who works directly with families who could use a little extra help.

This one is especially meaningful to me because both of my daughters went to Mantua Elementary School. It’s a community that was a big part of our family for many years.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and to Bridget Barbato for all her work helping make our Lake Accotink event happen. You guys made this possible.

And there are still kids in our community who could use some help starting the school year.

The Northern Virginia housing market continues to move in a healthy direction.

June brought more homes to the market, steady buyer demand, and continued price growth. Buyers finally have more options than they did a year ago, but well-prepared homes are still attracting strong interest and commanding excellent prices.
