I designed my original law firm website back in 2010 when the firm was launched and coded it myself in HTML.
At the time, I wanted it to look different from the typical lawyer websites. Not the usual people sitting behind desks, law books, wooden chairs, and oak conference rooms. I wanted the site to reflect my background: R&D, engineering, advanced technology, and intellectual property.
So I used high-tech images, a clean white background, a minimalist format, and a non-conventional layout. The goal was simple: show clients that The Villamar Firm was built for innovators.
A lot has changed since 2010.
This week, I redesigned and rebranded the site myself using Lovable AI, and I have to say, it is incredible how far machine learning has advanced. What used to take days or weeks of coding can now be shaped through conversation, iteration, and testing.
The new site is intended to reflect where we are now: bleeding-edge technology, fast-forward innovation, and intellectual property protection for inventors and companies building what comes next.
We have come a long way since hand-coded HTML.
