Love Your Block Mini Grant - Flint Neighborhood

The Fall River Garden Club completed another project today at the South Coast Funeral Home. Jeanne, Judy and Pauline planted pink Perennial Mums and pink New Guinea Impatiens.

Between the owner Thomas James, Mayor Coogan, Mike Dion, Cheyenna Forsee and the Fall River Public Works we all worked successfully together to complete this Project.

The Fall River Garden Club volunteers at the Nite Owl!

The Fall River Garden Club is working on a City Project in the Flint Neighborhood called "Love Your Block".

We planted Flowers, Vegetables, and Herbs on July 31, 2026 for the Nite Owl business on the corner of Eastern Ave and Pleasant St.

The following members helped with the plantings: Penny Phillips, Angie Gastall, Sandra Elliott, Jeanne Duarte, Donna Tommer, Cheryl Costa, Barbara Bellino, Pauline Breault, June Kingston.

We wish Brian the best of luck with his new adventure.

Message from Jeanne as part of a commitment:

The Fall River Garden Club is looking to plant herbs and flowers at the Nite Owl 1680 Pleasant St. Fall River on Friday July 31, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

The pots are already filled with soil, all we have to do is add a handful of fertilizer, add the herbs and flowers to the pots.

If you are interested please email Jeanne.

Make sure you bring gloves and small garden tools to complete this project.
