LSNV received an incredibly generous grant from the Virginia Law Foundation to support our critical work on behalf of domestic violence survivors. The grant was presented at a luncheon in Richmond last week. LSNV Executive Director Jim Ferguson received the grant and spoke to the assembled VLF supporters about LSNV’s life-saving domestic violence work. The VLF is a steadfast and highly-valued supporter for LSNV and many other nonprofits that work to advance access to justice, the Rule of Law, and law-related education.

Join our team! Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) is currently seeking a full-time Family Law Staff Attorney for our Loudoun office. This position represents victims of crime (particularly survivors of domestic violence) in various civil cases and focuses on protective orders, family law matters, and other civil cases arising out of victimization. The attorney will also focus on recruiting, training, and mentoring pro bono volunteers and will engage in outreach and education for underserved communities.

Recent law school graduates who have taken the Virginia Bar Examination and are awaiting results may also be considered.
