One thing I appreciated about my trip to Hawaii was not over-scheduling it.

My son and I spent a lot of time just driving around, stopping at different lookout points, and making time for sunrises and sunsets, and just taking in the scenery.

Last month, I joined a women’s golf group, Women on Course, in Hawaii.

I had heard it could open doors to connections and mentors I wouldn’t normally meet, plus I love golf, so I decided to give it a try.

Played a round at Royal Hawaiian Golf Club with my son during our recent travels.

It’s one of those courses where you’re surrounded by mountains and greenery the entire time.

It honestly felt like being inside Jurassic Park.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

About 10 years ago, I attended an AAPI event at the White House without fully understanding what it represented at the time.

Looking at it now, from where I am in my career and in business, I see it very differently.

Now, I understand now how much our communities and networks actually shape our opportunities, relationships, and growth.

Mother’s Day gave me a chance to reflect on one of the most meaningful parts of being a mom: watching your child grow into who they are meant to become.

I’m excited to share that my son will be starting college at RISD this fall to pursue his interest in art.

We recently had the chance to spend special time together in Hawaii, just the two of us, before this next chapter begins.

As a mom, those moments feel extra precious.

I’m feeling very grateful for this season of life and excited for what is ahead.
