We have had so much fun sharing more about the faces behind CGG! Today, we are shining the spotlight on Kiley Smith.
1. Before you joined Cooper Ginsberg Gray, you were thinking about pursuing a law degree. Have you changed your mind after working in a family law firm?
If anything, working at CGG has deepened my resolve to go to law school and become an attorney. In my time here I have had multiple opportunities to shadow our incredible attorneys in trials, hearings, depositions, and mediation sessions. Seeing them in action as they advocate for our clients has reaffirmed my passion for helping clients and their families navigate tough times. I am very excited to take what I have learned at CGG into my future career in law!
2. What do you do on weekends to unwind after a busy work week?
Most weekends I am booked and busy, whether that be with travel (my recent trips include Chicago, Daytona Beach, and Cincinnati) or catching up with friends and family. When I do find down time, I usually spend it watching TV, going on walks around my neighborhood, or playing a few rounds of Bananagrams with my partner.
3. What is your favorite “Mom & Pop” restaurant in the Northern Virginia area (and what is your favorite dish on the menu)?
My favorite local spot is a family-owned Italian place called Mama Mia Pizza in Gainesville, which is near my hometown out in Prince William County. They have a great daily lunch special, and I love their eggplant parmesan sub!
