Last week, I had the pleasure of presenting a CE/CLE seminar for ethics credit at the Virginia Land Title Association’s annual convention and 50th anniversary in Virginia Beach. The title of my presentation was “Lawsuits, Lawsuits, Lawsuits: Professional Liability and Ethical Pitfalls in the Real Estate Industry,” which provided a broad overview of potential causes of action against real estate attorneys and professionals in our industry, disciplinary actions and sanctions, and best practices.

It was my second consecutive year invited back by the VLTA to speak, and my parents’ first time watching me present a legal seminar. It’s always great reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, and the 80s themed party was totally rad!
