✨ATTORNEY SPOTLIGHT✨
Bill Leslie joined us after a distinguished career as a civil law trial attorney with the Illinois Attorney General's office, where he supervised the Chicago Metro Unit. Bill is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Bar, and the Federal Trial Bars for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois. Bill concentrates his practice in Family Law, including child support and divorce, employment discrimination, administrative hearings, commercial and business litigation, and probate, as well as real estate transactions, estate plans, and landlord-tenant issues.
Bill is a graduate of Quigley South High School, where he was a four-time conference baseball champion, and the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, where he was inducted as a member of the Political Science Honorary Fraternity. Bill played for the University Rugby Club, and paid his own way, working multiple jobs. Bill then attended DePaul University Law School, where he clerked for several law firms before joining the Illinois Attorney General's office, where he worked under Attorneys General Neil Hartigan, Roland Burris, Jim Ryan, and Lisa Madigan.
Bill is married to the 3-time Chairperson of the South Side Irish Parade, Marianne Rowan Leslie, and is the proud father of four children. Bill has the distinction of having two children play for national championships in Rugby in two different countries: daughter Tara, an Irish citizen, played for the National Championship of Ireland twice for the Galway Tribeswomen in Women's Senior Rugby, while son Griffin played for the Western Michigan University Broncos in the National Men's D-2 final in 2019.
