"The biggest reason I love Evansville is because of the people. It's the friends, the family, the coaches, the colleagues, the mentors; those relationships, those connections, are really what shape us into who we are and what we will become in the future. Those connections also help tie us back to our roots and this community, so that we always know who we are and from where we came, and I think that is really important for a city to have. There was never a question in my mind that this is where I wanted to be."
