This is a great time to create an estate plan or to review your existing estate plan. Creating an estate plan is beneficial for numerous reasons, such as:

1. Taking Control. An estate plan gives you control over what will happen to your assets and property. It also allows you to nominate guardians for minor children. Without this nomination, the court system will be in control.

2. It is not as complicated or time consuming as you think. A lot of the planning stages and intake process can take place virtually and online, if preferred.
