Words can’t adequately express how thankful our team at Arnold Law is for all medical personnel fighting to help those infected with COVID-19, but this can be a time for great action - even from your homes! Lissa Casey, attorney at Arnold Law, has voluntarily started a GoFundMe fundraiser to help our local nurses, doctors, and other employees in three departments of Riverbend who are on the front lines of the fight. All money raised will be used to purchase gift cards for food so that these heroes can get a hot meal during or after their shifts from our local restaurants.

Arnold Law will match new donations up to the sum of $1,000. We challenge other law firms in our community to do the same! Let us know what your match amount is and we will update it on the GoFundMe page and keep raising our goal!

Given the threat assessment restrictions issued by the Chief Justices of the District Court of Oregon and Oregon Supreme Court, trials and hearings, with a few emergency exceptions, have now been postponed.

Our team is primarily working remotely now and our lobby is now closed. If you need to provide our office with paperwork or materials, we are asking that you mail, fax, or email them. If that is not possible, if the materials are not voluminous, please feel free to drop them at the office in the mail slot by the front door. We still have team members on a rotating schedule in the office every day that will retrieve your materials and process them. If the materials are voluminous, please just contact us by phone (541) 338-9111 or email at [email protected] so that arrangements can be made.

All appointments will continue by phone and/or conference calls.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and continuing efforts during this time to do what we all can do as individuals and a unified team to limit the exposure to and spread of Covid-19. Thank you.

Although the nature of our work compared to many other fields is low risk, we feel it is important to recognize the community impact coronavirus may have and immediately take measures to reduce exposure that are within our control. We want to assure clients that efforts are being taken internally and externally with our staff and attorneys to reduce transmission opportunities while maintaining fully functioning business operations. Our office, equipment, and individual work spaces are being cleaned and sanitized daily. We have fully implemented initial safeguards at this time by restricting contact to phone appointments where possible. Any necessary in-person meetings will be scheduled on Fridays to the extent possible which will allow our office time for deep cleanings on Friday evenings. It will also provide a break from exposure over the weekend. We have educated and instructed our team on procedures to take during and after court appearances and jail visits. We feel a responsibility to do our best to protect those who cannot control protecting themselves in such confined places. Please know that we are taking these measures to ensure that our staff, attorneys, clients, and all of our families, remain as healthy as possible. Many of our clients, friends, and family work in and around the health fields and we salute those of you preparing for and/or currently fighting this battle.
