Alright everyone, we are approaching the spring cleaning time of year!

Pull out those old outdated Wills to review for any changes, i.e. updated names, heirs, etc.

An up to date, fully itemized, and solid Will is paramount for you and your beloved friendsf/family.

Special for March is estate planning. Call our office to schedule an appointment or see us on Saturday mornings between 9 and noon.

Basic Will package (consisting of Simple Will, POA, and Living will) is a flat $400 rate. For spouses, we'll add then in for a lump sum of $700.00

Due to a review on Google, we wanted to stress no one is allowed to give a quote on a case, "simple Will," or other matters EXCEPT a licensed attorney in our office.

We do this for different reasons, but mainly ethics. Believe what you will, but most attorneys want to keep their license in good standing. Non licensed attorneys cannot give legal advice.

Coming from a blue collar family, factory way of life is one of the main reasons we do Saturday consultations free of charge. You only pay if you wish to retain our office.

If you schedule an appointment during the week, we tend to charge a consultation fee, but that fee will be credited to any retainer fee.

Hope this gives more clarification.

A deed is a legal document that transfers ownership of real estate from one person to another. It must be signed, notarized, and recorded to be legally binding, and it is something our office deals with a lot.

Here are 3 Popular Types of Deeds:

1. Warranty Deed – Guarantees clear ownership with no legal claims or encumbrances.

2. Quitclaim Deed – Transfers ownership with no guarantees. Usually done between family members or to add someone to a deed.

3. Special Warranty Deed – Covers only certain ownership claims. Usually involves ownership from a foreclosure or other contract.

A parenting plan could be by Court order or by agreement of the parents that dictates many things. The most important topic discussed is the day to day parenting schedule, which determines how much time the children spend with each parent, the holiday schedule, and the general guidelines for parenting at both homes.

Parenting plans do evolve and should be revised as life changes happen. If you have not revised your parenting plan in a long time, I encourage you to call our office and go over that with us!
