Christopher Germain, REALTOR Helping you move forward with clarity and confidence. Local roots. Lasting results. Hello, I’m Christopher Germain. Service has always been a big part of who I am.

I guide buyers and sellers with honest advice, clear communication, and strong local insight—so you can make smart decisions and feel good about them. I’ve spent my life in the Escanaba and Delta County area, and it’s a place I’m proud to call home. From the shoreline of Lake Michigan to the communities that make up this area, it’s a great place to live, work, and put down roots. As an Associate Broker with Premier Real Estate, I help buyers, sellers, and investors navigate important decisions with clarity, steady guidance, and a practical approach. Real estate isn’t just about property—it’s about timing, strategy, and making confident choices. My goal is to keep the process straightforward, well-communicated, and moving forward. I’ve been a Realtor® since 2004 and have stayed actively involved in the industry at the local and state level. That involvement helps me stay informed, connected, and ready to advocate for my clients when it matters most. I served as a volunteer firefighter captain for over a decade and have been involved in several local organizations focused on giving back and strengthening the community. That mindset carries over into how I approach real estate—showing up, doing the work, and being someone people can rely on. If you’re thinking about buying, selling, or investing, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence and make decisions you feel good about.

🍁 THIS WEEK IN OUR AREA! | October 12–18, 2026 🍂

Fall is in full swing here in the Bay de Noc area! The leaves are changing, the temperatures are cooling, and there's still plenty happening around our communities to keep us busy!

Whether you're looking for live music, arts and activities, family fun, or a chance to support a local fundraiser, there's plenty happening this week! From the Magical Market and local entertainment to Saturday's family festivals and Sunday's Spooktacular Trunk-or-Treat, there's something for just about everyone!

❤️ Sunday is a great day to support a good cause (or two)! Sunday has several fundraisers, including the Ford River Firefighters Association Breakfast, the Escanaba Elks Brunch, and the Jil VanDamme Co****le Tournament.

📅 Check out the two attached calendars for the full lineup of events, dates, times, and locations!

As always, I encourage you to get out, explore, support our local businesses and organizations, and enjoy everything our area has to offer!

👇 Did I miss an event? Feel free to share it in the comments so others can check it out, too!

Please note: Some events may have an admission charge or limited capacity. They could also be weather dependent. If you're interested in attending, I recommend contacting the hosting establishment for details on pricing and availability.

🍂 THIS WEEK IN OUR AREA | OCTOBER 5–11 🍂

October is here, the colors are changing, and there’s another full week of things to do around the Bay de Noc area!

This week brings a little bit of everything, including art and creative classes, jam sessions, open mic night, live music, comedy, live theater, and plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy our local businesses and community.

Then Saturday brings one of the bigger events of the week with UPtoberfest in Ludington Park, along with even more live music and entertainment throughout the area. 🎶🍻🍁

And if the fall colors keep cooperating, this might be a pretty good week to add a drive, hike, or walk along the waterfront to the agenda too. Sometimes the best local event is simply getting outside and enjoying where we live. 🍂

👉 Check out both images for the full list, and let me know what you’re planning to check out this week!

As always, if you know of an event I missed, drop it in the comments. I’m always happy to help spread the word!

📌 Please note: Some events may have an admission charge, require advance registration, be weather dependant, or have limited capacity. If you’re interested in attending, I recommend contacting the hosting establishment for details on pricing and availability.

There’s a great mix happening around the Bay de Noc area this week so you have plenty to choose from!

I’m not going to complain about this Sunday. 😎☀️

The Lions got the win. 🦁💙 Picked up a late lunch from Eleven 10 Bistro, and now I’m enjoying this beautiful weather on my front porch while putting together this upcoming week’s Bay de Noc events calendar.

Work seems considerably less offensive when this is the office. 😂

Hopefully Mother Nature forgets to flip the switch to October for a little while longer!
Hope everyone is enjoying the day!

Love seeing this! 💛 Cancer has touched my family, as it has far too many families, so it's great to see a local business stepping up for such an important cause.

Plus, I can personally attest that the fries are delicious! 🍟😋 Stop by Friday, grab some lunch, and help them sell a whole lot of taters for a great cause!

🍂 THIS WEEK IN OUR AREA! 🎶
September 21–27, 2026

I’m coming in a little late with this week’s calendar, but better late than never! 😅 There’s still plenty happening around the Bay de Noc area this week, so let’s get to it!

We’ve got live music, classes, community events, comedy, a car show, Downtown Day in Gladstone, Youth National Hunting & Fishing Day, and plenty more to choose from. 🎶🎨🎣🚗

And yes... I see the “End of Summer Bash” on Friday. I’m choosing to interpret that as a celebration of summer and NOT an official declaration that it’s over. 😂☀️

I came up a little empty-handed again for organized events on Sunday, so I’m turning it over to you:

🌲 Make your own Bay de Noc Adventure!

Take a drive, hit a trail, grab some takeout, visit a local shop, get out on the water, catch a sunset, or discover someplace around the area you haven’t visited in a while. Then come back and tell me what you did in the comments! 👇

As always, check out both images for the full lineup, and if you know of an event I missed, please add it in the comments so others can find it too!

Please note: Some events may have an admission charge or limited capacity. If you’re interested in attending, I recommend contacting the hosting establishment for details on pricing and availability.

📊 Bay de Noc Market Pulse | August 2026

The latest numbers are in, and the Delta County real estate market continues to show signs of shifting toward a more balanced environment.

🏡 Inventory remains near the five-month mark at 4.59 months. While the market still leans toward sellers, buyers continue to have more options than they did a year ago, with months of inventory up 34.6% compared to last August.

⏱️ Homes that sold moved quickly, with the median time on market dropping to just 16 days. Sellers also received an average of 98.1% of their list price, up from last month.

💰 The median sold price for August came in at $180,000, down from July's $237,450. Remember, though, a one-month change in median price doesn't necessarily mean individual home values fell by the same amount. The mix of properties sold each month can have a significant impact on that number.

🔍 Intel to Watch: While August's median sold price dropped, RPR's estimated median property value for Delta County actually increased to $219,970, up 5.8% from a year ago. That's why I like looking at several indicators together rather than letting any one number tell the whole story.

🎥 Watch this month's Bay de Noc Market Pulse for a closer look at the August 2026 data.

Have questions about what these numbers mean for your home, your neighborhood, or your plans to buy or sell? I'd be happy to help!

🍂 THIS WEEK IN OUR AREA! 🎶 September 14–20, 2026

September is rolling right along, and there’s plenty happening around our area this week!

From live music and local markets to a Paint & Sip, fundraisers, bingo, a craft show, Harvest Fest, comedy, and more, there are lots of reasons to get out of the house and enjoy our community. 🎨🎵🍁

As always, take a look through both images for the full list. I try to gather as much as I can from around the area, but I’m sure there are things I miss.

👉 Know of an event that should be on the list? Drop it in the comments! It’s a great way to help others discover something happening in our community.

Whether you make it to an event, grab dinner somewhere local, browse a local shop, or just get outside and enjoy the beginning of fall in the U.P., I hope you find a little time to enjoy where we live. 🍂💙

Just a couple of guys who love Honolulu Blue. 😂🦁

With the Lions on today, it seemed like a good time to bring back this photo from when I got to hang out with Roary at Ford Field during my inaugural as President of the Michigan Realtors®.

Definitely one of the more entertaining perks of REALTOR® association life!

Go Lions! 💙🏈
