Today is a meaningful milestone. Being sworn in as the new Municipal Judge for the Town of Unicoi is an honor I do not take lightly. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me, and for the opportunity to serve our community with fairness, integrity, and respect for the law. I look forward to working alongside town leadership and staff, and to continuing to uphold the principles that keep our justice system strong: listening carefully, treating people with dignity, and ensuring that every case is considered thoughtfully and impartially.

Nineteen years ago, I was sworn in as a licensed Tennessee attorney by Judge Thomas Seeley, Jr. — a moment that remains one of my favorite memories and one of the greatest honors of my life.

I am deeply grateful to every client who has trusted me with their legal needs throughout these years. Your confidence and support have meant more than words can express.

It has been a privilege to serve the people of the First Judicial District, and I look forward to continuing that service for many years to come.

Today I had the incredible opportunity to speak to the third through fifth graders at Love Chapel for Career Day. The future is bright in Unicoi County. ❤️ The students were eager to learn about being an attorney, and they asked some of the best questions I’ve ever received. I’m so impressed by their curiosity, enthusiasm, and confidence. It was an honor to spend time with such a thoughtful group of students!

It was a beautiful day for the GFWC Erwin Monday Club Charity Golf Tournament. Over fifty participants teed off around 10 am at the Erwin Elks Par 3 golf course.
