Here's a question: when did you last think about your sewer line?
If your answer is "never" โ you're in the majority. And that's exactly why this matters.
A sewer line problem discovered during a buyer's inspection can be emotionally charged and expensive to negotiate. A sewer line problem discovered by YOU before listing? That's just information you can plan around.
I pay for a professional sewer scope inspection for every buyer client, and I recommend one for every seller. I specifically use inspectors who don't do repairs โ so the assessment is genuinely unbiased.
It's one of those services most agents never mention. I think it's essential. Because you deserve a higher level of service โ all the way down to what's underground. ๐ก
