As we near the end of the 2020 year, the Law Offices of Helbert & Allemang would like to send all of our client's, families, and friends, the warmest of Holiday wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 2020 has been a challenge for all of us, but we approach 2021 with renewed hope! Our office will be closed beginning tomorrow, December 24, 2020, at 12:00 p.m., for our annual Holiday Season vacation. We will reopen to the public for the New Year on January 4, 2021. To Our clients: We want you to know that WE LISTEN, WE CARE, AND WE GIVE YOU OUR BEST WORK. To make sure that your legal needs are being met in a safe environment, we have made changes.

Our office is disinfected several times each day. All people coming into the office are required to check in and use a hand sanitizer before meeting with anyone. Hand sanitizers are available on a table in the lobby and then also on the counter in the lobby area. Each office is equipped with hand sanitizer. We have three air purifiers operating to keep the air as clean as we can. We appreciate masks being worn in one-on-one contact. We also have telephone consultations, online scheduling, payment by telephone, virtual consultations through zoom and skype, and we use the internet extensively to communicate with our clients. Clark Allemang has regular office hours at this time. Michael C. Helbert does not but is available by telephone, email, zoom and skype. We want to make your choice of Helbert and Allemang as safe as we can. Obviously, no one can give a guarantee, but we are working hard to stay sanitary and keep you safe.

This pandemic has been a challenge to everyone. In the legal system, very few hearings have been held. Jury trials have been suspended indefinitely. That is a problem for our civil lawsuit clients because a jury trial or the threat of one is their best friend. Criminal cases are subject to different rules but, criminal jury trials will not be held until some time in August at the earliest. This will influence every client we have because we know that justice delayed can be justice denied. However, you can be sure that Helbert and Allemang will be with you through these trying times. We appreciate the fact that you trusted us with an important part of your life and we are humbled by that.

To our valued clients - The State of Kansas has extended the Stay-At-Home Order through May 3, 2020. Our office will continue to be available to serve all of your legal needs during this time. In an effort to remain open for business for our clients during this time as we do our part in social separation and pursuant to the Emergency Public Health Order issued March 26, 2020

We ask that you call our office prior to entering the office for an unscheduled walk-in appointment.

Please place all documents through the door drop box

We have now designated a six-foot space for all inside transactions. Thank you for complying.

Beginning Thursday March 26 - 8:00 A.M. to 8:45 A.M. will be designated as separate operating hours for elderly and vulnerable customers. While we sanitize all work surfaces and door handles after each client, this will allow us to sanitize prior to opening the office each morning.

Payments can me made in the following manner::

Cash payments will be accepted through the door drop box in a sealed envelope. Please ensure your name and phone number are clearly written on the envelope for proper credit to the account.

For our valued clients, families, and friends, Helbert & Allemang has a COVID -19 / CORONA VIRUS accommodation and management plan in place. We are being vigilant about maintaining a safe workplace and keeping those we work with safe. Over the next few months, we will reduce the number of people who may need to attend our offices to necessary visits. We will endeavor to continue to serve you by using telephone conferencing, video links, email etc. Please do not come to our offices if you have any flu-like symptoms and minimize in-person meetings.
