The Don & Beth Straus Center, an adult day program located at Birch Bay Retirement Village in Bar Harbor, provides socialization and support services for seniors and their family members in Hancock County. Meals on Wheels America helps not only our human clients but their furry friends, too! Thanks to their generosity, Furry Friends Food Bank received a Trailblazer Grant, made possible by PetSmart Charities, that allows us to mentor up and coming pet programs while continuing to serve low income older adults.
