Designed for lawyers, law students, veterans, policymakers and other service professionals, this conference provides a forum for discussion of critical legal issues facing veterans.
The conference includes:

📌 Training for non-attorney veterans interested in serving as mentors for the Veterans Treatment Docket
📌 Expert panels on The Irregular Application of the Presumption of Regularity and National Security and the Rule of Law

Our keynote speaker is author, Six Triple Eight Congressional Gold Medal Champion, and retired U.S. Army Colonel Edna W. Cummings, who will be interviewed by Dean LaVonda Reed, Dean of the University of Baltimore School of Law. Dean Reed will ask Colonel Cummings about her new book, "A Soldier’s Life," and discuss her career as a soldier and champion of civil rights.
This event is in-person, but virtual options are available for the two afternoon panel discussions.
