As of late, we've all seen how uncertain this world can be. However, there are some things that are still within our control such as planning for our future. With recent world events, it's a great time for reflection. Whether this post causes you to reflect on your personal goals, financial goals, the direction of your local community, the state of the world, or something else, I hope your time of reflection helps you form goals and your goals are followed by good planning.

Here's a May Day basket for you! In these uncertain times it's encouraging to see the warm weather sweep in, the landscape turn green and vibrant, the planting of gardens, and people enjoying some outdoor activities. While we still have much to accomplish until we're back to "normal," it serves as a good reminder that seasons change. This pandemic season that we're in, too, shall pass. Update for Iowa residents: Iowa has temporarily relaxed the requirement that notaries have to be in the PHYSICAL PRESENCE of a signing party. Contact us for more information on completing estate planning documents remotely.
Update for everyone else: We are now conducting initial consultations by phone, zoom, skype, and facetime for those wanting to start the estate planning process without meeting in person.
