So I know a lot of friends, family, colleagues have questioned my decision to dedicate so much to my recent business project with Legalshield. What I can tell you is from the first time I heard the vision of “Equal access to justice for all, “ I was hooked. I sat in an auditorium with thousands of others listening to the Attorney General from the state of Indiana talk about how the rest of someone’s life can be determined in seconds.
That’s exactly what happened to Mr. George Floyd and his family. Seconds, minutes changed their life’s forever! There’s no way to know for sure if he had an attorney on speed dial if his situation would’ve ended differently. If he’d be alive today. But I certainly belief there would have been a far greater chance that the brutality he suffered could have been less impactful, even stopped if he told the officers he had his attorney on the phone. If he could have had a button to speed dial and get a top rated lawyer on the line speaking on his behave would things be different??? I don’t know but I do know I am damn sure on a mission to make sure EVERYONE, black white, green or purple has this option, this protection!
Ya’ll please pray for Mr. Floyd’s family, for the City of Minneapolis, and for our great nation so that this travesty and abuse of power stops NOW!!!
