Congratulations, Rachel Bell: Our 2026 Kentucky High School Senior $1,000 Scholarship Recipient! 🎓

Each year, we award a $1,000 scholarship to a Kentucky high school senior who exemplifies strong character, academic excellence, and a commitment to serving others. Among this year’s applicants, Rachel's story and achievements truly stood out.

After a devastating ACL and meniscus injury ended her varsity soccer season at Elizabethtown High School, Rachel turned adversity into opportunity—shifting her focus from athletics to service and leadership during her recovery. Through the Kentucky Governor’s Scholar Program, she spent five weeks in Appalachia supporting communities facing economic hardship and helped organize a food drive for families in need.

Her leadership and character earned her the “Best Teammate” award, voted on by her coaches and peers. Now, Rachel plans to pursue a legal career, studying Southern Studies or Political Science and exploring issues of justice, history, and civil rights in the American South.

We’re proud to support students like Rachel who are interested in studying law and committed to making a difference. 👏
