✨Historic Chowan County Courthouse✨

As the oldest courthouse still in active use in North Carolina, the Chowan County Courthouse is also the state’s oldest surviving county courthouse. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1970, and the North Carolina Supreme Court last heard arguments there in October 2022.
