This weekend I had the great privilege of seeing legendary criminal defense attorneys be inducted into the into the TCDLA Champions of the Defense Hall of Fame and I was reminded that “The one place where a man ought to get a square deal is in a courtroom, be he any color of the rainbow, but people have a way of carrying their resentment right into a jury box.” -Atticus Finch. For 12 years I have been in private practice and I have seen extraordinary lawyers make this their life’s mission because the courtroom is the foundation of our legal system. It is a place where everyone involved should be treated equally, with compassion and dignity. I have big goals and plans for my future so I hope family and friends that you will join me on my new journey… TBA ….
