This answer might surprise you:

Do you know what will happen to your assets in Oklahoma if you are married and pass away without a will or some type of estate planning?

If you are married with children, your spouse would be entitled to half of the estate and your children would be entitled to the other half.

If you are married without children, your spouse would be entitled to half and your parents (or possibly siblings) would be entitled to the other half.
