We’re pleased to share highlights from one of our recent International Association for Identification (IAI) half-day workshops on Bloodstain Pattern Analysis on Fabrics, focusing on clothing, and Methodology for Identifying Voids.
Fifteen participants—including an attendee from Japan—joined the session with Tom "Grif" Griffin, which combined approximately two hours of lecture with two hours of hands-on practical exercises. Working in teams, attendees examined multiple sets of clothing and footwear, documented bloodstain appearance and location, practiced core documentation procedures, and evaluated whether the observed stains supported, refuted, or remained neutral regarding specific case scenarios. Most teams completed three to four scenario sets during the practical portion.
Thank you to everyone who attended!
