Here is the recap for the Chili Bowl match up. This is the 22nd season of MAC Football. Perfect conditions no wind and the field is soft and plush, shout out to Edina Park and Rec.

Team Packers – Higgins “Higgy” at QB / Receiver 1- Pecard – Lindy – Navo – Sheridan – Jeff New Guy

Team Vikings – Dan “the man” at QB / Receiver 1+ - Williams – Shoe – Carlson “JC” – Clayborn - Sheridan

Yikes my first impression was the Vikings are loaded with talent.

Packers start with the ball – 4 and out “Bigger issue Sheridan came up lame and is questionable to return, that hurts.”

Vikings Ball – A couple throw away plays, 4th and long – guess who Dan to Williams for the Score

Xtra point excitement – Pecard pick in the end zone and he out runs Clayborn for the score. Nice watching my neighbor hustle.

Packers Ball – A nice little drive ending with a beauty of a TD throw from Higgy to Navo, beating Shoe for the score.

Extra point No Good / Carlson having none of that breaks up the pass. Very athletic play for the MAC founder.

The last 20+ years have been memorable in many many ways for our small parcel in NE Edina but in some ways we have extended our reach and impact and in most ways our little community has done something bigger than we expected, Laurie Lindeen was the pivot or the energy. She had done this before and in big ways part of the Mpls Sound of the 90s band explosion. She was a mom in our community but was extraordinary with her contributions with our amazing launch of MAC social gathering that brought us all together and launched new creative ideas. A rare find is Laurie Lindeen and a rare loss that we will never know what gifts were yet to give. Our loss. Much love to MAC MOTY James Diem who loved her more than anyone. ❤️💔❤️‍🩹

We are heartbroken about the news of our co-founder, frequent contributor and dear friend Laurie Lindeen’s sudden passing. There simply wouldn’t be a Morningside After Dark (the name she gave our church basement gig, naturally) without Laurie. After helping us launch the show and fill it with her many talented musician and writer friends no one could believe we landed on our humble stage, she also made us laugh and cry with her frequent appearances as a performer. We will share the ones we were lucky enough to record with you here. We will never forget her and send our love to everyone hurting.
