Worth sharing. Today, our landlord called to tell us that if we were having any financial difficulties due to CV (we're not), that we didn't have to pay rent for the foreseeable future. I'm thinking we'll pay early.

WELCOME!

Welcome to the eighth annual Compliance Cruise sponsored by Pearson & Bernard PSC, a comprehensive home care and hospice compliance seminar. As always, we will preview many issues that your agency will face in 2019. From health care reform, tax reform, changes at CMS and the Department of Labor to the OIG and beyond, the government took many actions in 2018 that will affect your business. Our faculty represents some of the brightest and most experienced experts in the industry. Together we have more than one hundred years’ experience in hospice and home care. As in past years, we focus on major areas of compliance: Health Care Policy, Reimbursement Issues, Clinical Requirements, Technology Issues, Sales and Employment Matters.

All the educational sessions will be held in the Concerto Restaurant in the center of Deck 6 (Fiesta). There will be a coffee and tea service set up for each session, which will all be held during our three days at sea. Lunch is on your own. This is a good opportunity to meet and collaborate with other successful agency owners and administrators. We welcome back our old friends and remind our new ones that you are encouraged to consult with any of us on issues of interest to you and your agency. No one will bill you for their time or advice. If you have issues to discuss one-on-one, we will find the time.

We’ll try to set up a group dinner for Friday night in the main dining room. We’ll keep you posted and look forward to seeing you this week.
