🚨 North Carolina Business Owners — Final Reminder 🚨
If you own a North Carolina LLC, corporation, or other registered business entity, now is the time to make sure your annual report has been filed with the North Carolina Secretary of State.
For most North Carolina LLCs, the annual report is due by April 15 each year. If the annual report is not filed by the 60th day after it is due, the Secretary of State may administratively dissolve the entity. For corporations, the annual report is generally due by the 15th day of the 4th month after the close of the corporation’s fiscal year.
This filing helps keep your business entity active and in good standing with the State of North Carolina. Failing to file can create problems for your business, including issues with contracts, banking, financing, licenses, and liability protection.
