Beware of Coronavirus scams! Scammers are taking advantage of people’s fears surrounding Coronavirus. This includes selling phony products through websites or other sources, tricking people into sharing personal information to steal identities, and collecting monetary donations through fake charities. If you receive a suspicious email, phone call or letter, do not respond to it and delete it right away. We have been retained on behalf of the Saudi Arabian Consulate and have been requested to run a parallel investigation to law enforcement regarding the death of Hussain. We have been in touch with both UW Stout Police and Menomonie Police Department and are working with agencies involved. The Saudi Arabian Consulate wants the same thing law enforcement and the rest of the community wants - for this case to be solved. We are a conduit for information. Please call, message or email if you have any information you would like to share with us.

People who commit fraud frequently go to great lengths to cover their tracks and uncovering them often requires the specialized training of a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Individuals who want to earn certification as a fraud examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners must meet rigorous criteria including extensive training in both accounting and investigative procedures. Our investigator Karen Myers, a Certified Public Accountant with years of accounting experience, is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Many businesses do not want to “jump the gun” when they first start having suspicions about fraud so they wait and try to closely monitor things. While this is certainly a reasonable response, the one thing we have learned through YEARS of experience that is ALWAYS consistent in cases of fraud: THE LONGER YOU WAIT, THE MORE DAMAGE DONE.

Let our fraud expert help you stop fraud dead in its tracks! Contact CIS today at 715.271.8970.

We frequently get calls about our ability to do surveillance. Surveillance can be extremely helpful in obtaining and documenting information about an individual including their possible associates as well as their daily routine and physical activities. Surveillance can be an incredibly powerful tool in a variety of cases such as workman's comp or family court. With our team of investigators (and high-tech surveillance equipment!!) we have the ability to do stationary and mobile surveillance undetected!

What are the signs that someone is claiming a fraudulent injury or insurance fraud? Sometimes there is not a "clear cut" answer but there are a few red flags to be watchful for, such as:

*Conflicting or changing stories about how an injury occurred
*No one else witnessed the accident/injury
*The timing of the accident/injury (for example, if it coincides with other events such as disciplinary action at work or in response to a creditor placing a lien on their property for an outstanding balance)
* History of multiple claims
*Gap in time between when the injury occurred and when medical treatment was actually sought

We frequently get calls from individuals or businesses reporting that they have "heard" from others that the person is secretly working on the side or continuing to engage in normal activities despite claiming they no longer can because of the alleged injury.

These cases call for SURVEILLANCE! And our team of skilled investigators can help gather evidence that will be admissible in court to help prove a fraudulent claim!
