Our mission is to support and assist individuals and families who are unable to afford representation in civil legal matters and to provide connections to community
services. MSPB provides free legal help to our Eastern Shore neighbors with issues such as:

Wills/Powers of Attorney/Advance Medical Directives

In observance of Juneteenth, all Shore Legal Access offices will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and serves as a time to reflect on the ongoing pursuit of equality, justice, and freedom for all. We honor the significance of this day and recognize the importance of continuing to advocate for access, opportunity, and equity within our communities.

Our offices will reopen Monday, June 22. ❤️🖤💚

Every spring, the Mid-Shore Regional Pro Bono Committee Annual Meeting takes place where members of the judiciary, local bar associations, and community leaders come together to assess the community’s legal needs and identify opportunities for collective action for the coming year.

E. Gregory Wells, Chief Judge of the Appellate Court of Maryland, was the guest speaker, and Judge Harris Murphy, Administrative Judge, Circuit Court of Kent County, was this year’s host.
