The U.S. Forest Service reopened a portion of the BWCA to day use access on Monday. On Thursday, the agency began allowing overnight access for 41 entry points in the central and eastern areas of the wilderness, covering about 40 percent of the one million acres in the Boundary Waters.

Some outfitters say more access should be allowed as the wildfire risk wanes.

To keep our event a Safe Festival for all, we're introducing enhanced security features this year including fencing around the festival ground and staffed entrances.

Please Note: Bags are subject to checks. No fighting or play fighting, fireworks, weapons, outside food or beverage (exception of clear water bottles), fireworks or pets (unless registered service dogs)

Unsupervised Minor Policy: Starting at 8:00pm on July 4th, all minors (17 & under) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over 21 years old. Guardians may supervisor up to 4 minors (unless immediate family.) Eagan Police will enforce this policy.

We look forward to celebrating safely with our community - thank you for helping make this a great festival for everyone!
