Dear Friends,
I’m writing to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who voted, donated, knocked on doors, took lawn signs, delivered lawn signs, hosted and planned events, and sent text messages. Thank you to everyone who believed in my vision for a safer, stronger Dakota County. Unfortunately, we did not get the results we hoped for. I want to extend my congratulations to Kathy Keena and Matt Little as they move onto the general election in November.
I never thought that I would run for office, and it has been a life-changing experience for me. Throughout my campaign I’ve had the privilege of meeting people from all walks of life who share my belief that a system of compassionate justice is possible. It is these encounters– your stories– that I will carry with me to the future. Because the work doesn’t end here; there is still much more to do to achieve the justice system that Dakota County deserves.
