tation, nonprofit corporations, public finance, and real estate law. The Firm represents clients throughout North Carolina, as well as the Southeast. The Firm concentrates its practice on affordable housing and community economic development law. Affordable housing and community economic development law is a multi-disciplinary legal specialty. Within this specialty, the Firm is general counsel to six municipal corporations in North Carolina and special counsel to seven municipal corporations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Louisiana. The Firm provides guidance to its clients in the area of real estate, mixed-finance transactions, and complex financing and development issues. By representing a variety of clients, the Firm is also well equipped to advise clients regarding federal, state and local housing laws and regulations. We have a wealth of knowledge regarding federal and state laws and we make it a point to stay current with proposed legislative and regulatory changes that may impact our clients.
